thing 18

So i'm using the zoho writer thing. its interesting, but im not quite sure what its purpose is for. i realize its used to create documents and publish blogs and things like that, but if i want to create a document i'll just use microsoft word! i know, i'm stuck in my old ways. so i just posted my test document from zoho in this blog thing. its interesting but not something i'd go out of my way to use.

Thanks for using Zoho Writer, Devi!

Other than creating documents & posting to blogs, Zoho Writer makes collaboration very easy. Suppose you create a document in Microsoft Word and want it reviewed / edited by your colleague or friend, you will have to mail it to and fro. But with Zoho Writer, you can share the document you created (since you feel comfortable with MS Word, you can create the document itself in MS Word and import it into Zoho Writer) and the editing can be made online. Zoho Writer offers collaborative editing with a chat window so that you can chat with your colleague/friend while both of you edit the document online.

Also, Zoho Writer forms a part of a large suite of online tools. Check out the other Zoho services at http://zoho.com.

Do write to me at aravind(at)zoho(dot)com if you have further queries.
